Who are we?

In biology and economics alike, diversification is a powerful strategy for reducing risk. As our forests face increasing threats from global change, diversifying them is vital to reduce their vulnerability and strengthen their resilience. However, applying this strategy to complex forest ecosystems is a significant challenge.
That’s where we come in. We are a team of data scientists with a deeply interdisciplinary background — neuroscience, bioinformatics, forestry, acoustics, mathematical agroecology, and physics — supporting forestry professionals in this critical mission.
We believe that by combining our expertise with the practical knowledge of field managers, we can implement systemic management solutions that will:
- Increase the resilience of forest ecosystems
- Maintain their many benefits
- Improve the quality of wood, an essential resource.
